“I’ve always struggled with dry, sensitive, quite fragile skin. I tried countless products over the years, but nothing really got me the calm, glowing skin I was looking for and my skin reacted badly to many products. I had always been interested in natural therapies and remedies, and I knew how supportive plant oils could be for the skin. So, in search of my own solution, I started blending products made from plant and essential oils to see if I could find something that worked for me.

I knew that getting the cleansing step right was crucial, so I began by formulating a gentle cleansing balm with plant oils, followed by a nourishing face oil. My skin began to settle and improve surprisingly quickly. Friends and family noticed the difference and they started to try the products.

What amazed me was how well the blends worked across a wide range of skin concerns—from dry and sensitive to acne-prone and cross different age ranges and genders. Seeing the results
convinced me to start Ilixa so we can share the products with a wider community”
